Did you know that whenever you buy anything online – from Black Friday bargains or Christmas presents, to weekly shops or for your annual holiday – you could be raising money for AFC Telford United Supporters Association

There are over 4,000 shops and online sites on board, including the likes of eBay, Argos, John Lewis, ASOS, Booking.com and M&S, ready to make a donation and it won’t cost you a penny to help us raise some extra funds.

Overview

Legends Night

Ticket sales to date have been slow however a recent press release and expected increase in sales nearer the event there are no initial concerns.
Session with Rich W and Phil S to agree format of the evening and further requirements.
Progress is being made contacting the players and staff attending the evening.
Confirmed attendees to date: Mickey Fudge, Anton Joseph, Ken McKenna, Ryan Young, Phil Trainer and Jimmy Turner
Hall of Fame inductees have been agreed. These will be kept a surprise for the event.

Christmas Raffle

Raffle tickets are printed and will be distributed to youth teams over the next week.
Agreed the same split of proceeds between the Supporters Association, Foundation and Youth setup as per last year.
A number of prizes have been received from club sponsors in addition to those purchased by TUSA.
Agreed to continue push for prizes with a view to obtaining a similar number to last year right up until the draw date.

Away Travel

Carolyn confirmed that Mickleover ran at a small profit which helped to cover some of the current seasons losses.
It was acknowledged that the fixture schedule and number of long trips in close proximity has hampered numbers on the coach.
Coach to Hadley booked and prices agreed. Acknowledged that the cost of the coach is more than expected due to proximity to London. Therefore prices could not be reduced any further despite our desire to make it more affordable.
Agreed to continue monitoring away travel on a match by match basis.

AOB

Tom had a productive conversation with Chris Ball around growing our supporters platform. Actions taken away on a number of initiatives.
At the end of the meeting Chairman Tom Lewis confirmed he will be resigning as Chairman and from the Supporters Association at the end of the season. Should someone express a desire to step into the role during this season, Tom will step aside earlier.
Agreed the role will be advertised before next steps agreed.
