defender

Ellis Myles

Date of birth: 20 February 1993

Biography

Ellis, who has Irish citizenship, began his career as a trainee at Leicester City. He subsequently joined Brackley Town, but before the 2012/13 season, he switched to Rugby Town.

Two full seasons at Rugby were to follow; Ellis then signed for Stamford. In January 2016, Ellis returned to Northamptonshire with Corby Town before beginning a second spell with Brackley Town that summer.

A six-season stay with the Saints saw Ellis help establish themselves in National League North, narrowly missing promotion on more than one occasion, also winning the FA Trophy when defeating Bromley on penalties at Wembley in 2018.

Ellis decided to move on in the summer of 2022 and joined Boston United, but before the season had ended, he had left the Pilgrims and joined Kettering Town.

Ellis signed for the Bucks in June 2023, bringing his buccaneering style of full-back play to Shropshire and reuniting him with his former Brackley boss, Kevin Wilkin.
