As discussed in Kevin Wilkin’s post-match interview on Saturday, we can confirm that Tyler Bruck and Lewis Trickett’s loan spells with the Bucks have ended, with both players returning to their parent clubs.
Kevin Wilkin – Post-Match Interview vs Barwell
Lewis joined the Bucks on a month’s loan from Accrington Stanley and Tyler from Solihull Moors, but as Kevin explained, changes in circumstances meant both found their opportunities limited.
“Yeah, it’s disappointing for Tyler, who’s maybe a little bit of a victim of the circumstances that we found ourselves in. With probably everybody nearing full fitness and the high level and standard that Stenno (Matty Stenson), Ola (Lawal), or Dylan (Hadley), or whoever it might be that they’ve been working to, it’s frustrating for him. Tyler’s a good lad, and we wish him well and he will, I’m sure, pick up his game and his career and start to move forward. He’s a good lad and will get a chance and an opportunity to do well.”
Lewis’s situation was slightly different as he did incur an injury, but ultimately, with the same end result: of a lack of game time.
“Lewis was frustrated not to maybe start when he came into the group, and I understand young players’ frustrations in that situation. When you’re not making the eleven or sixteen, it can be a difficult place to find yourself and a frustrating place to find yourself, and all young men are in a hurry to do well and want to do well. I can only pick so many within the group.”
We’d like to express our thanks to Tyler and Lewis, as well as their parent clubs, and wish them every success in their future endeavours.
