AFC Telford United is to reward the town’s emergency services for their tireless efforts during the pandemic with free tickets for the National League North fixture against Blyth Spartans on Saturday 9th April.
The Club has been keen to give something back to those who, during the COVID-19 crisis, have helped keep the local community safe across the NHS, Police, Fire & Rescue, army services & social care sector.
As a result, we’ve made an allocation of FREE tickets available to be claimed by local workers from those services at a rate of one per person and on a first come first served basis.
The Bucks take on Blyth Spartans at the New Bucks Head on Saturday 9th April in a key fixture as the club look to avoid relegation from the National League North and Football Operations Manager Luke Shelley is hoping as many people as possible take advantage of the offer.
“As a Club, we wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone in the emergency services across Telford & Wrekin.
“We all know how tough the last 2 years have been for everyone but hopefully this gesture can help us give a little something back to those who have done so much to help us all and show our gratitude for their efforts.”
Those who wish to claim a free ticket must do so in-person at The New Bucks Head Learning Centre Office in advance of the fixture and be able to show the relevant identification and proof of job.
The deadline for emergency service workers to redeem tickets is 3pm on Saturday 9th April. Tickets can be claimed on the day from the Ticket Office.
