AFC Telford United would like to remind all supporters that as friendly club open to all, we expect all supporters to behave in an appropriate manner as we want everyone to feel welcome when they visit the New Bucks Head.
Following several reports since Tuesday evening’s game, the football club can confirm that an individual has been banned from attending the next two fixtures at the New Bucks Head as a warning for inappropriate behaviour.
The football club would like to remind supporters of their responsibilities when it comes to ensuring the safety of not just those spectators who come to games, but also the safety of all players, match officials and anyone else assisting in the smooth running of the game
We must stress unacceptable conduct will not be tolerated and you will be dealt with in the strongest possible way which can even result in a lengthy ban from the New Bucks Head.
We will continue to work closely with West Mercia Police, who may consider further action which could result in a banning order from all football stadiums in the country.
If you hear someone behaving in an inappropriate manner, putting the Club at risk during a match day you are entitled to report them anonymously by texting 07572 236 037 which is a new system that will be monitored from the control tower on a match day.
Fans who do behave in an inappropriate manner, bringing the Club into disrepute will face limited or lifetime bans, loss of their season ticket, or arrest by the Police.
As always we thank you for your continued support.
