In the lead up to the festive season AFC Telford United are calling on the community to help support T4U
Teams4U is a charity set up by Dave Cooke, who has nearly 30 years experience working within international relief and development
Each year T4U run a nationwide shoebox appeal to provide Christmas gifts to vulnerable children and families.
The idea is that a shoebox is filled with a well-balanced variety of items, which are then sent to either a boy or a girl covering four different age categories, 3-5 years, 6-11 years, and 12 + years.
We recommend several items to include in each shoebox.
The contents should ideally consist of school supplies such as pens, pencils, crayons, notepads and picture books, hygiene items like a facecloth, toothbrush, comb and soap, and toys such as stuffed animals, small musical instruments, as well as hair clips, toy jewellery, t-shirts, and socks.
Any items that can be linked to AFC Telford United would also be welcome.
Supporters are asked to drop of their Shoebox to the club office by before Friday 6th November.
