We can confirm that our playoff final tie against Leamington FC on Bank Holiday Monday is sold out.
The unprecedented demand for tickets has surprised and delighted us, but we also acknowledge that some supporters have been unable to obtain tickets and have been disappointed.
We had allowed four days, Friday to Monday, for ticket sales and did not anticipate selling out in such a short time; the demand has been unprecedented and the excitement this game has generated has been beyond anything we imagined.
In recognition of the fact that there is unmet demand, we will be providing a live stream of the game online for what we believe to be a reasonable cost of £9.99.
We had not planned to stream the game online; however, with cooperation from Leamington, we have worked hard to put this in place at short notice.
We hope this will enable spectators who were unable to purchase a ticket to watch the game, and we hope there may also be interest in the game amongst football fans in general.
The live stream can be accessed through the following link:
With the club operating our live stream, we urge you to take care when purchasing.
The link above is the only official link and any others you see advertised or promoted, especially on social media, are likely to be scams.
We will remove any social media posts we identify as fake and block those posting such links, but take no responsibility for losses incurred should you click on links which turn out to be fake.
The stream will be a single-camera stream and will carry the BBC Radio Shropshire live commentary with scoreboard graphics etc. It will also be a co-production with Leamington FC, so their supporters needn’t worry about feeling unrepresented in the coverage.
For those unable to attend or purchase the stream, the match will be broadcast on BBC Radio Shropshire and we will bring you our usual comprehensive coverage on X (formerly Twitter).
