Moving On: Reece Styche

As you may have seen from social media, Reece Styche will not be returning to the SEAH Stadium for the 2024/25 season.

Reece has signed for Stratford Town and leaves with our good wishes and thanks for his contribution to a memorable campaign.

We had remained in contact with Reece whilst he explored other options; however, with Matty Stenson and new signing Dior Angus competing for a starting position, manager Kevin Wilkin could not give Reece any assurances about increased playing time:

“Reece is at a stage of his career where he wants and perhaps needs regular minutes, but he also understands my perspective. Reece would be someone I’d have been happy to have on board but it’s got to be on the right terms for both parties.”

“We spoke again earlier this week and Reece confirmed he wished to sign elsewhere, which to be fair I’d anticipated.”

“He had a real impact when he arrived last season and scored some important goals for us, so we wish him well for his next move.”

Thank you, Reece, and go well.

Moving On: Reece Styche
