Match Guide: Chester

Your guide to a matchday at New Bucks Head.

AFC Telford United welcome Chester to the New Bucks Head on Boxing Day. The fixture will be segregated so Chester supporters will be housed in the Frank Nagington Stand.

Adult: £14.00
Concessions: £10.00
Students & 16-19 Yr Olds (Id Required) £5.00
Under 16’s: £1

For those supporters who wish to purchase on the day of the game in cash or by card, you can still do so at the ticket office which will be based outside the East Terrace near to the Learning Centre Building.

The Ticket Office will be open between the hours of 12.30pm-3.00pm

It is strongly recommended that you buy a ticket online in advance, to avoid any queues at the ticket office

For those supporters that require disabled access and those with carer assistance, you will be able to pay on the assisted gate which is based next to the club shop.

Away supporters will need to purchase their tickets in advance, there will be no pay on the gate available.

COVID

Although face coverings are not compulsory inside the New Bucks Head, we do recommended they are worn inside enclosed areas where supporters feel appropriate. Face coverings are not required in hospitality areas including Win’s Bar. Hand sanitiser will be available throughout the stadium.

Please do not attend if you have any COVID Symptoms or have tested positive in the last 7 days.

Car parking

Car parking is available at the New Bucks Head priced at £3.00 per car. Limited spaces are available on the Learning Centre Car Park. Please pay at the car parking meters. Only card payments will be accepted. Please do not park on the Whitehouse Hotel Car Park otherwise you will be fined £100

With a large crowd expected we would advise those supporters with a parking pass to arrive before 2.30pm

Supporters who pre-book taxis will should be dropped outside the Whitehouse Hotel on Watling Street.

If you wish to pay for parking using cash then please go to the Ticket Office.

Ticket Office and Club Shop opening hours

The Ticket Office Is open from 12.30pm-3pm on a match day. Our Club Shop will be open from 1.30pm through until kick off.

Along with replica shirts and leisure wear we have Pennants £8 Aluminium water bottles £10 Scarves from £8, Mugs £5, Junior Bucks gift packs £15

Gates

The stadium gates open at 1.30pm. Access for hospitality guests will be through hotel reception – this will be open from 1pm

Programme

Match Day Programme will be available to purchase from the club shop or around the ground at a cost of £2.50

Snack Bars

Products on offer at the New Bucks Head which are provided by Mitchells Catering include burgers, hot dogs and pies confectionary and crisps. Cold drinks such as Pepsi, Tango, and Water are available from the kiosks. The Snack Bar will be open from 1.30pm

Bars

Win’s Bar bar opens from 12.00 noon and is open for home supporters only.

Chester supporters will be able to access the away bar which is housed inside the concourse of the Frank Nagington Stand.

Inside the ground, home supporters can drink on the East Terrace from 2pm throughout the game.

First aid

The First Aid Room can be located under the control tower. Please ask the nearest stewards if you require any further assistance.

Disabled facilities

There are numerous dedicated disabled toilet facilities around the ground.

Disabled supporters will be able to pay on the assisted gate which is based next to the club shop.

Reporting an issue

If you hear someone behaving in an inappropriate manner, putting the Club at risk during a match day you are entitled to report them anonymously by texting 07572 236 037 which is a new system that will be monitored from the control tower on a match day.

Fans who do behave in an inappropriate manner, bringing the Club into disrepute will face limited or lifetime bans, loss of their season ticket, or arrest by the Police.
