We are happy to confirm the signing of midfielder Luke Rowe from Bromsgrove Sporting FC.
Luke returns to the SEAH Stadium, having played here in the 2022/23 season when he joined in mid-season from Hednesford Town.
Following a seven-day approach, midfielder Luke, aged 23, has agreed to terms with the Bucks, and Kevin Wilkin is looking forward to reacquainting himself with Luke, who played for the Bucks under Kevin previously.
“Working with Luke the first time he came to us, he was probably twenty or twenty-one years old and came into a really difficult situation. He’s gone away, and we’ve nearly signed him on a couple of occasions since, but it hasn’t quite happened. He’s a good leader and his game has grown and improved with playing regularly for Bromsgrove. He’s been their captain and is highly thought of there, and now we’re hopefully taking him at the right age and time for him to continue developing and hopefully developing us as a team.”
“He’s got that bit of confidence. He’s a good organiser and talker on the field, and that’s an area we’ve said we need to improve on. We need more leaders and generals, and Luke fits that bill. I’m looking forward to working with him again.”
