AFC Telford United are proud to be supporting the Level Playing Field Week of Action at Saturday’s home game against Darlington at the New Bucks Head.
This Saturday will see the players warm up in Level Playing Field t-shirts to help promote the inclusion and diversity work that Level Playing Field undertakes.
We encourage inclusion and diversity through our staff, players, supporters and volunteers. The club provide accessible seating for supporters along with a carer champion who is on hand to aid those supporters who require that extra bit of assistance.
We pride ourselves on the help we give to disabled supporters and by working in conjunction with the Level Playing Field we are looking to continually improve facilities for Disabled supporters in the future at the New Bucks Head.
Tickets for Saturday’s game are now on sale at the reduced rate for disabled supporters of £5.00 for adults, 16-19 £1 and free U16s. All carers will be allowed in for free.
Tickets must be brought in advance from the main office before 4pm on Friday. Proof of disability will be required eg is in receipt of middle or higher pips allowance.

Football Operations Manager Luke Shelley said: “At Telford we’re thrilled to be supporting the Level Playing Field week that many clubs up and down the country will be doing this weekend. We’re proud and committed to the work that we do within our club which has now seen us create a disability team for the first team in the clubs history. We also have a carer champion in Amanda White and a lot of our stewards and volunteers are some of the best in the country in assisting those supporters that require that bit of extra help on a match day. Recently we have been working in partnership with several parties to promote inclusivity of disabled people and this club, and hopefully Saturday will see an increase in the number of disabled supporters visiting us for the first time”
