I now declare you man and football club.
It’s been quite a week for Brandon Hall, and we are delighted to confirm that last season’s no.1 will be returning to the New Buck’s Head after agreeing terms on a new deal with manager Kevin Wilkin.
Brandon enjoyed an outstanding debut campaign in Bucks’ colours, with a total of seventeen clean sheets in the league and playoffs; that’s almost one every other match, and if you ask Brandon himself, he’ll doubtless mention the two that were taken away when Nuneaton resigned from the league.
Kevin Wilkin was more than happy to have secured Brandon’s services for another campaign, as he explained:
“Brandon’s an excellent goalkeeper, who has played at and still wouldn’t be out of place at a higher level. He had a really consistent season; Brandon often didn’t have much to do in games but when we needed him, he kept his concentration levels high and made the important saves. Games can be won and lost in those moments and I’ve no doubt we ended up with more points on the board thanks to Brandon, so I’m glad to have retained him.”
Brandon also signed a lifetime contract to run alongside his new deal when he and fiancee Hattie got married on Sunday (26th), and from everyone at the club, we send nothing but best wishes and congratulations to the newlyweds.
We are not only happy to see Brandon commit to the club, but we are also elated for Brandon and Hattie as they start married life together.
As far as the Bucks and Hattie are concerned, he’s a keeper.
Welcome back, Brandon!
