We are pleased to confirm that Harry Hawkins will remain as a Buck throughout January.
Harry, on loan to the club from Derby County, will stay with the club for at least another month after the Bucks extended his loan until 2nd February.
The 18-year-old midfielder made his first start for the Bucks at Stourbridge on 21st December and has started every game since, making four appearances.
Harry was one of several players to join Derby County’s Under-21s squad full-time in the summer of 2024 after two years with the Under-18s.
Harry is now on a two-year scholarship with the Rams under-21 side and was Academy Player of the Year for the Pride Park team’s under-18s in the 2021/22 season.
Bucks manager Kevin Wilkin was keen to extend Harry’s loan, saying:
“Harry has fitted into the group really well and he’s done well for us over what is quite an intense period of matches for any player, let alone a young man still getting to know his teammates. I’m looking forward to continuing to work with him.”
We’re happy to see you sticking around, Harry!
