Match Day Experience Survey

Firstly, a big ‘thank you’ to everyone who has completed our match day experience survey.

We have received over 100 responses to the survey, which the club’s Supporters Association (TUSA) are coordinating.

As with any survey, more responses should provide a more accurate view, so we encourage anyone who hasn’t taken part to do so.

Where the survey highlights any ‘quick wins’, we aim to implement these as soon as possible. More significant issues, or anything requiring further investigation before possible implementation, will be considered by the club and TUSA in conjunction.

You can find the survey by clicking on the link below:

Playoff Dates

With only two months of the season left, excitement is building, and we have seen a few people on social media asking about play-off fixture dates.

The Southern League regular season fixtures end on 27th April 2024.

The playoff format is as follows:

Semi-finals – Wednesday 1st May 2024 7.45 pm kick-off

  1. 2nd place finishers vs 5th placed finishers
  2. 3rd place finishers vs 4th placed finishers

Final – Monday 6th May 2024 3 pm kick-off

Winners of Game A vs Winners of Game B

The semi-finals and the final will take place at the home ground of whichever team had the higher-placed league position.

Please note that we are giving out this information to help people plan for a potential playoff campaign.

With ten games remaining, there is still much to do to ensure we finish in a play-off place!

Kevin and the team will continue to work towards this aim, and with your support, we will give ourselves the best chance of ending the season where we want to be.

Injury Updates

We have had confirmation that the injury recently experienced by Nathan Fox was a medial knee ligament injury.

It is disappointing news, chiefly for Nathan himself, but the good news is that Nathan’s injury does not require surgery.

Nathan will be undertaking recovery and rehabilitation under the supervision of the club’s medical staff, with the desired outcome being a return to action before the end of the season.

AWAY

Alvechurch FC – 2nd March

Carolyn Hornby is still taking bookings for coach travel to this fixture.

Details of all away travel, with costs and departure times, are available elsewhere on the club’s website:

https://www.telfordunited.com/match-day/travel-parking-directions-away-travel-info/

You can contact Carolyn to make a booking by calling her on 07966 935534.

As always, making an early booking is encouraged; this reserves your seat and allows Carolyn to assess whether the coach can run, as minimum numbers are usually required.

Contacting the Club

A reminder that the most effective and the preferred way for you to contact the club is via the contact phone numbers and e-mail addresses on the contact page of the club’s website, or using the contact form on that page.

Contact Page

Whilst we are often contacted via social media, these channels are not monitored constantly and queries may go unreplied to should none of our staff or volunteers spot them.

If you want to be sure, use the contact form and not social media.

Thank You, Neil

Finally, it was great to see former Buck Neil Howarth back at the New Buck’s Head last weekend.

Neil was our invited guest, spending the afternoon in hospitality with a Question & Answer session before the game. There was also an opportunity for Neil to speak to old friends and acquaintances, prompting him to say:

“An absolute pleasure to do this yesterday. I genuinely love going back to New Bucks Head. Thanks  for looking after me. Kevin and the team look in a good place at the moment. Think they’ll take some stopping this season.”
