Injury Updates
Matty Stenson was the only Bucks player absent through injury last weekend.
We remain optimistic that Matty will be fit for this coming weekend, but as ever, involvement in training on Thursday will determine who is fit to play.
International Recognition
Congratulations from everyone at the club to Archie Elsdon, who gained this first ESFA cap when representing the English Schools Football Association Under 18s this weekend.
Archie, who has developed through the club’s youth section and has trained with the first team this season, was selected in the starting XI to face the Independent Schools FA team at St. George’s Park on Sunday (11th February), playing close to 70 minutes of what was, unfortunately, a 3-1 defeat.
Archie is also in the squad for forthcoming matches in the SAFIB Centenary Shield as follows:
Northern Ireland v England
Friday 23rd February
7 pm
Danny Blanchflower Stadium, Belfast
Wales v England
Thursday 28th March
7 pm
Briton Ferry AFC
England v Republic of Ireland
Friday 5th April
7 pm
Walsall FC
We’ll aim to keep you updated on how Archie and his teammates get on; with one fixture in Walsall, you may even want to go along and see for yourself.
Tickets are now available here for the games at Walsall:

Bookings already made for Stratford mean the coach will run; however, bookings for Stamford remain low.
Should you wish to travel to Stamford, Carolyn requires confirmation by midday on Friday (16th) at the latest; this will allow Carolyn to cancel the coach if necessary but will also give those who may still wish to travel the opportunity to make new arrangements.

From the Dressing Room
A change of shirt, a change of luck? That might be the case for Montel Gibson, who netted twice in the victory over Kettering Town wearing an unfamiliar shirt number, the no.10.
What lay behind the change? Nothing more complicated than Montel feeling his usual no.9 shirt felt a little uncomfortable.
Kitman Tom Mansell’s explanation was a possible case of it shrinking in the wash, so with two no.10 shirts available in different sizes he offered Montel the larger of the two.
The result? A more comfortable Montel broke his scoring drought.
Expect Monty to want that no.10 shirt again next week…
