AFC Telford United Foundation is looking for enthusiastic, motivated, and community-minded individuals to join our growing team on a flexible, casual-hours basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering projects that make a positive impact across Telford and the surrounding areas, helping people of all ages through sport, education, health, and community engagement.

About the Role

Successful applicants will support the delivery of a wide range of Foundation programmes, including football development sessions, holiday activities, educational initiatives, health and wellbeing projects, and community outreach programmes.

No two days are the same, offering a varied and rewarding role within the charitable arm of AFC Telford United.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and support community-based programmes and activities.

  • Assist with football, sport, health, wellbeing, and education projects.

  • Engage positively with children, young people, adults, and community groups.

  • Support holiday camps, after-school clubs, and outreach programmes.

  • Assist with the planning and delivery of Foundation events and initiatives.

  • Ensure all sessions are safe, inclusive, and enjoyable for participants.

  • Represent AFC Telford United Foundation in a professional and positive manner.

What We're Looking For

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A positive attitude and passion for helping others.

  • Reliability, flexibility, and a strong work ethic.

  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Experience in coaching, teaching, youth work, community engagement, or sports development is desirable but not essential.

  • A commitment to creating positive opportunities within local communities.
