When we say we value your support, it’s never meant insincerely. Without fans, we simply wouldn’t exist, or have a reason to exist.
It’s always our aim to reward you on the pitch, but from the start of the 2026/27 season, our new loyalty scheme will aim to reward Bucks fans differently for their support.
In the past, priority for tickets with limited availability has usually been given to those who purchased season tickets.
We know that season tickets don’t make sense for everyone, and can exclude people whose passion for the Bucks runs deep, but whose circumstances prevent them from committing to a big seasonal purchase, even with our instalment option.
We hear you, and we’ve listened to your feedback to find a solution.
Working with StandBased®, we have devised a Bucks’ Loyalty Points scheme, one that rewards the devotion and commitment our fans make to the club in different ways.
In addition, there will be a monthly prize draw for exclusive prizes from the club. Earn a minimum of one point in any month, and you earn one entry to the draw, so there's always a chance to win!
How does it work?
There are several ways to earn points, as we want to reward fans for supporting the team in a number of ways - these will primarily be driven by the free-to-download AFC Telford United smartphone app.
● Matchday Check-in
Whether you're following virtually or at the ground, tap the check-in button for the fixture to earn points (+1 for virtual check-in; +15 for in-person check-in)
● Loyalty Card Scans
This is for in-person purchases - such as at Win's Bar, the Club Shop, the Player's Lounge, or in the concourse. Simply go to the homepage of the app, click the card button in the bottom right of the screen, and you will get your unique QR code, which you can scan at the outlets before you purchase.
● Online purchases
Online purchases from the Online Club Shop, the new Table Ordering system and new Away Travel system also automatically earn you loyalty points, so long as you're signed into the website.
● Other ways to earn
There are other ways you can earn points - for example, playing our Free Predictor game earns 1 point per play, online half time entries will earn 3 points per entry (coming soon), and we will be trialling new avenues throughout the season.
We know you’ll have questions about the scheme, so we’ve tried to think of answers to the questions we think we’ll be most frequently asked, and we’ve brought them all together under the banner:
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) (catchy, we think)
Q: I have already bought my shirt for this season from the Online Club Shop - do I still earn loyalty points on this?
A: Yes, we have assigned points to all purchases online since 1st June, so you're covered. If you purchased in-person, make sure to scan your loyalty card the next time you're in-store.
Q: How many loyalty points does each thing earn?
A: A full list can be found below:
● Away Travel booking: 10 points
● Check-in (physical): 15 points
● Check-in (virtual): 1 point
● Half-time Entry: 3 points per £1 spend
● Predictor Play: 1 point per play
● Club Shop Spend: 1 point per £1 spend
● Food & Beverage Spend: 1 point per £1 spend
Q: How do I view how many loyalty points I have?
A: This is available underneath the QR code in the app.
Q: Is there a leader board of the top fans?
A: Due to this being an ongoing trial, and to comply with GDPR, this information will not be released for the 2026/27 season
Q: Do my points expire?
A: Your balance runs for the season and resets at the end of it. Everyone will start 2027/28 on a level playing field, so it's never too late to start climbing.
Q: Does entering the monthly prize draw use up my points?
A: No. Entries are generated automatically from the points you earn that month - one point earned = one entry - and your season balance is untouched. You're never choosing between the draw and priority ticketing.
Q: How does the in-person check-in know I'm actually at the ground?
A: Physical check-in is geofenced to the SEAH Stadium, so you'll need to be at the stadium for it to register. If you're following from elsewhere, the virtual check-in is there for you.
Q: I'm a season ticket holder - do I still need to check in?
A: Yes. Check-in is a separate tap in the app, so make sure you do it on matchday to pick up your 15 points.
Q: Does this mean that as a season ticket holder I no longer get preference for games with limited availability?
A: No, ST holders still receive preference; the idea is to give a second option to reward the loyalty of those who can't afford or justify a season ticket.
Q: I forgot to scan my loyalty card in the Club Shop / Win's Bar - can the points be added afterwards?
A: Unfortunately not, so it's worth getting into the habit of having your QR code ready before you pay.
Q: Can I hold points for my kids, or run a family account?
A: Points are tied to individual accounts, so each fan needs their own app account to earn. The app is free to download.
Q: Do I need the app to earn points on online purchases?
A: No - just make sure you're signed in to the website when you buy. The app is needed for check-ins and your loyalty card QR code.
Q: Are purchases from the refreshment concessions within the SEAH Stadium included?
A: No, at present points can only be earned for food and beverage purchases made within The West Stand and Win’s Bar.
Q: When does this start?
A: It's already live, so you can start earning today.
Q: How do I give feedback?
A: Use the contact form on our website. This is a new system, and we'd genuinely like to hear what's working and what isn't.
With anything new, we know that despite our efforts to think of everything, we won’t have thought of everything!
This is a brand-new loyalty system, and our collaboration with StandBased® makes AFC Telford United one of the first clubs in non-league football to offer fans a chance to have evidence of their loyalty in different ways, not solely by purchasing a season ticket annually.
We appreciate any and all feedback on the system, with our goal being to continually improve and shape the Bucks Loyalty Scheme so that it rewards those who support us.
