We are pleased to announce the signing of midfielder Dylan Mitchell.
Dylan, aged 20, joins up with the Bucks following his release from EFL League Two side Swindon Town.
Hailing from Birmingham, central midfielder Dylan began his football career with Aston Villa. Dylan’s first taste of men’s football arrived with a loan spell at Alvechurch of the Southern League Premier Central in 2023/24, and he made a big impression, winning the Manager’s Player of the Season award; however, he was released by the Premier League club in July 2024 and subsequently joined Swindon.
Dylan’s first-team opportunities with the Wiltshire side were limited; nevertheless, Dylan has gained further experience in men’s football with loan spells at Hereford and Leamington in the National League North. Between those spells, he ventured into National League South with Weston-super-Mare.
His most recent loan, at Leamington, saw him face the Bucks with the Brakes in early December. Dylan’s stay at the Your Co-op Community Stadium ended in January 2026, and he returned to the County Ground. This culminated in a decision to release Dylan from his contract, allowing him to find a new club.
Having been interested in taking Dylan on loan, his release has allowed manager Kevin Wilkin to secure his services for the Bucks.
Welcome to the club, Dylan!
