We hugely appreciate the recent support at our games and the response we are getting to our recent performances and results on the pitch. We all look forward to an exciting second half of the season.
A very small minority of our supporters continue to cause issues with behaviour and we urgently need this to be eradicated. Being in possession of and the use of pyrotechnics and other flares at a football match is a criminal offence and both the individuals and the club would face serious consequences and in the case of the club be fined. Our CCTV and facial recognition will continue to be focussed on all sections of the stadium and we are obliged to hand any video footage of such incidents to the Police. Courts have a sentencing guideline of three months imprisonment and a three year football banning order for such offences.
We very much look forward to seeing good attendances at our upcoming games starting on New Years Day, all supporters having a good matchday experience and that everyone observes the standards of behaviour already displayed by the very large majority of our supporters.
