Steffan Jones

Biography

Central defender Steffan joined the Bucks in July 2023.

Hailing from Penybontfawr, near Oswestry, Steffan has represented England Colleges on four occasions, including at the Roma Caput Mundi tournament in Italy in March 2023. He has captained the side once, against Australia.

A product of the youth systems at Llanfyllin Town and Bala Town, Jones moved to Cefn Druids in the Cymru North for the 2022/23 season before signing a one-year contract with the Bucks for 2023/24 after a successful trial.

His first-team opportunities were limited; however, the promise shown on those rare appearances was a persuasive factor in Kevin Wilkin re-signing the young Welshman.
