AFC Telford United can confirm we will be segregating all remaining home games this season starting from Saturday 5th March when Alfreton Town are the visitors.
We have unfortunately seen an increase in minor disorder at matches this season which was also the case on Saturday when we welcomed Gateshead.
Fully segregated fixtures means additional costs to the football club as we require extra turnstile operators, stewards, snack bar staff, cleaners, bar staff so this as a decision we have not taken lightly but feel to ensure we provide supporters with a safe environment to watch their football team we have currently been left with no other option.
If you hear someone behaving in an inappropriate manner, putting the Club at risk during a match day you are entitled to report them anonymously by texting 07572 236 037 which is a system that will be monitored from the control tower on a match day.
Fans who do behave in an inappropriate manner, bringing the Club into disrepute will face limited or lifetime bans, loss of their season ticket, or arrest by the Police.
Tomorrow evening’s game against Curzon Ashton will not be segregated due to a very low number of travelling fans.
