AFC Telford Women’s attention is back to the FA Cup as the travel to Walsall Wood Ladies in the second qualifying round on Sunday. Fresh from making it 3 wins from 3 in the league with a 7-0 victory at home to Coventry City they will be hoping to progress to the next round against league rivals Walsall.

The Bucks progressed into the second qualifying round 3 weeks ago with a 3-1 victory over Droitwich Spa Ladies, Jaime Duggan netting a hat trick on this occasion whilst hosts Walsall Wood were 4-0 winners against Sedgley & Gornal.

The sides have met on two occasions in the past, both when the Bucks were in their debut season in the Birmingham County League, the latter a victory that secured the 100% league record. Both sides head into this fixture off the back of league victories so it is sure to be a close fought encounter.
