All at AFC Telford United are saddened to hear of the death of Lez Dean, one of our loyal Bucks supporting family.
Lez, more often known as ‘Benny Buck’ passed away peacefully on Wednesday 9th December after he was diagnosed with a grade 4 brain tumour at the end of June.
Lez Dean was Telford through and through having supported the club since the late 80s. He was a familiar face on match day from the early 2000’s when he was Benny Buck for 7 years. He also helped run the away travel club in the 2000s including playing bingo caller for Gringo Bingo on the supporters bus.
We send Lez’s family and friends our warmest best wishes, our condolences, and our thanks for Lez’s support of the club over the many many years.
The players will wear black arm bands in memory of Lez at this weekend’s fixture at Kettering Town.
