Spalding United
0 v 1
AFC Telford
Match Review
The Bucks earned a first away win of the season thanks to Ricardo Dinanga’s 56th minute strike at Spalding.
It was a determined display by Wilkin’s men as they picked up a first clean sheet of the campaign in what was a fairly even game; the Bucks looked the more likely side in the first half, while the Tulips took the game to Telford more after the break.
After a goalless first half, it was perhaps slightly against the run of play when Ricardo Dinanga tucked away what turned out to be the winner. The Bucks broke down the right, with Byron Moore sending in a cross that found its way through to Dinanga in the inside left channel. The Bucks’ tricky forward proceeded to turn his man inside out before firing in a confident left-footed finish from the corner of the six yard box.
The Bucks saw out the rest of the game to notch an important 1-0 win.
