Derrick Moore: (Secretary):
Derrick is the Secretary of the Trust Board and his roles include preparing the agenda, minutes & summaries for all meetings of the Trust, arranging the Trust AGMs and completely the annual statutory return, advising on the requirements and changes to the constitution. Derrick helps in the Learning Centre bar before and after matches and also assists in the West Stand bar at half time of matches. Additionally, Derrick has been helping with the set-up of the Telford United Community Charity, the constitutional aspect of our future model of ownership and working on a club history project. A club volunteer of over 50 years, Derricks wealth of knowledge and experience of all things AFC Telford United is vital to the Trust Board.
Bob is in charge of Membership & Community Relations for the Trust. Now retired, Bob had a varied career working as Regional Director of the National Farmer Union responsible for the 5 West Midland counties, Chairman of the West Mercia Police authority, Chairman of the Shropshire Diversity Group and Deputy Chairman of Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution. He was also a Founder and Chairman of the West Midlands Rural Support Network and was Company Secretary for The Heart of England Fine Foods.
Ian is the Trust's financial expertise. A professional accountant, Ian offers countless hours to both the football club and the Trust as well as arranging events and offering the necessary governance and financial nous for any project work.
Until recently, Rachel was employed by the football club looking after day to day catering, facilities and any number of other areas within the club. She now works for Dawley Town council and has, since her appointment into that role, looked to strengthen our presence in this area of Telford, by supporting the Trust and Club in arranging and promoting events within the vicinity. Rachel continues to volunteer regularly at the football club and has done just about every role you could imagine in her time with the club.
