Youth Round-Up
A review of all the action from the first weekend after the half term break.

Following the half term break it was a return to action for a number of our Youth sides as they looked to build on a good start to the season.

We start our round up with the Under 10 Girls who were in fine form as they ran out convincing winners at home to Worthen, Skye Hipkiss leading the way with 8 goals. Meanwhile the Under 12 Girls suffered defeat in the final seconds of their game against Lawley Lightmoor. Despite goals from Syd Field and Lacey Skitt they went down 3-2 to the league leaders. Our Under 12 Boys got back to winning ways with a complete performance away at Mercia Junior Kings. Goals from Ben Thompson, Jenson Bolton and Jack Lucas gave them a 3-0 victory. The Under 13 Boys were edged out by a single goal at home to Kington Town.

Their were two crucial ties at the top of Girls leagues for our Under 13s and 15s respectively. The 15s faced Coventry Girls knowing a victory could take them top of the league. Nykeshia Reed led the way for the Girls with a brace as they ran out 3-2 winners, Kaitlyn Richards with the other goal for the Bucks. The Under 13 Girls also went top of the league with a 3-1 victory over Knowle Girls thanks to goals from Orla Molloy (2) and Elle Morrissey.

Despite a goal from Lauren White, the Under 16 Girls went down 5-1 away at Walsall Wood whilst the Under 18 Boys went down in similar fashion at home to Leek Town. In the local derby of the day, our Under 14 Boys travelled the short distance to face Shifnal Harriers. It wasn't to be a game without drama as 10 goals were shared, Telford goals coming from Reece Clayton (2), Josh Beamond, Mackenzie Gulliver and Reuban Payton. Meanwhile after 3 straight wins, our Under 16 Boys went down 2-1 away at Leicester Road.

We end our round up with our two Under 10 Boys sides. The Bucks were winners at home to Walsall Phoenix thanks to goals from Ben Corfield and Octobers player of the month Logan Whittaker scoring a brace. Finally United were narrowly edged out away at Rugby Town.
